Have not been in touch as we have been home only a short time after being away for 3 month! Had a great time with Pastor Dale and Debbie and all our family at the church in Guam. God is so awesome! We are going "On The Road Again" tomorrow (Sept 13- Oct 9). Going to China with our precious friend, partner in the Gospel, calabash family, key intercessor, Auntie Millie Ho. She is turning 80 yrs old and wanted her extended family to party with her in China. So Nancy, Jodi and I are going on a tour of China for 10 days...which will start in Bejing(1st time) and end in HK. Will connect with our church in HK, preach for my dear friend, Paul SW, then on to Japan for our Japan leaders gathering Scott and Naomi Douma. Norm Nakanishi will be the key speaker. Nancy and I will spend the 5-8th ministering with our church in Sapporo. Thank you for journeying with us in prayer.
All of us like to receive gifts, yet Jesus said that is it more blessed to give than to receive. Our families, our friends, our foes need the gift of love from us.....by praying for them. Pray 3 simple things for them: 1. To know God personally 2. To understand His Purpose for their lives. 3. To access His power to live this amazing life and purpose.
Wow! What an amazing time of gathering from 44 nations. The concluding meeting was the summary of the whole conference. Pastor Steve Murrell spoke on being "A People of Love." Two key quotes "a one word summary of discipleship is love" and "a one word summary of leadership is love." May God's grace continue to build us into "A People of Love."
Wow! What an amazing start to our Every Nation '07 conference with great worship and great Words from Daniel Stephens of Midland,Tx and Mark Conner from Melbourne, Australia. Wish you all could have been there as the person, power and purpose of the Holy Spirit is the theme of our conf. God was awesome by the power of His Spirit. Please pray with us for the impact coming out of this time together that will impact our neighbors and the nations.
It is amazing that our Lord is able to see in us that which we and other can not see. He saw in the shepherd boy a king such as King David. He sees the full potential even when things are in seed form. Take courage that He see not what you are, but what you can be in Him.
We can't do everything, but we can do something. The something that we can do, will make a difference in lives of friends, our neighbors, our co-workers, our community, our city, our nation, and our world.
Each of our lives have been empowered by God. He has invested creation gifts in each life, but we also have the glorious privilege of being empowered by His miraculous life in us by being born again and filled with the Holy Spirit. We are called to make a difference in this world by that empowered life.
The power of one person especially Mothers to shape lives...only eternity will tell. Mothers, thank you for believing in your children and praying for their divine destiny. Hannah's prayers shaped the future of Israel through her son, Samuel. Happy Mother's Day to all you Moms!!
We can all build bridges to our friends and family or we can build walls. Our call is to allow our faith to build bridges for other to find this great journey of faith to our Savior and Lord, Jesus.
